Farm-Direct Flower Care

1. Hydrate flowers immediately upon receipt. Remove your flowers from the box upon arrival and any plastic water tubes on the stem.
2. Fill a vase with warm water and add the contents of the floral food package provided with your flowers. This product provides nutrients to the flowers and protects water from bacteria. (Carefully follow the directions in the floral food label as incorrect mixtures may reduce the life of the flower)
3. Before arranging flowers, cut one inch off the bottom of the stems under water, using a sharp knife or scissors to allow a greater water uptake.
4. Place flowers immediately in the vase making sure to keep foliage above the water. Leaves left underwater will rot and create bacteria that will shorten the life of the flowers.
5. For full enjoyment, keep the flowers in a cool and well ventilated spot out of direct sunlight and excessive cold or heat. As a general rule of thumb: the cooler the temperature, the slower the flowers will open.
6. We recommend you to change the water and recut all the stems every 2 or 3 days.
